I stopped by lebarons sporting goods and was looking at scopes, I saw this one the Bushnell Banner 4-12x40 ao @ $ 130.00 taxes included and thought of the 34 .22 just wearing the center point 4x32.
Sooo I grabbed it, this model does not have mildots but that is Ok. The recticle is a multi x with the x being quite thin and is actual small enough to judge hold over at reasonable distances between 20 - 40 yards.
When I got home I mounted and leveled the scope and am sinking preds within a dime size circle at 21yards on 12x. Is this scope good for this rifle, will it hold up? Rob

Most of my air rifle scopes are Banner 3x9-40mm AOs, I've two that are 4x12-40mm AOs....and the Banners hold up great in mid-recoil rifles. I've one on my Hammerli Titan which most would consider as a Tech Force 89/99....and they're a bit more harsh than the mid-recoilers but not as hard as the magnum air rifles....and that scope's still perfect after over 2000+ shots. I also got them at Le Baron (In Canada only folks) and I've their membership card so an 10% discount with each purchase.

Thanks Gamo2hammerli, I guess it will hold fine cause I tuned the 34 .22 and she is pretty smooth. I need to get that 10% discount card as I grab alot from them.Rob

Rob that scope should hold up just fine on that rifle!

Glad to hear that mark, I usually go with leapers but I really liked this one. The picture is pretty crisp even at 12x.Rob

I just watched forum member Tcups use a older bushnell on a CZ springer to win the GTA shooting competition. At 28 or so yards, he never missed a painball(target) once. Those bushies must hold pretty well against a low/med powered springer. J

Well congrats to Tcups, and glad I made a good choice, thanks J. Rob

The lighting is not that great, but here is a mediocre picture of the 34 .22 wearing the banner 4-12x.Rob
