Title: Vintage Benjamin scope mounts
Post by: TerryM on April 26, 2017, 09:19:18 AM
Got these off a 342 parts gun and put them on my shooter.  Big, brass blocks grip the barrel.

Good-looking rig.
Only problem I have with scoping those tootsies is it makes pumping more difficult, scope sits right where I want my hand to be, keep a peep on mine.

That an old Weaver on top? Looks period correct.

Period correct mounts and scopes look pretty cool.  I would love to find the old Crosman one piece mounts.  The modern ones you buy work but one screw in an aluminum grip?  A bit tenuous.

The scope is a Weaver 4X Marksman.  Has an oval shaped field of view.  I have to adjust my pumping technique around the scope, I do it with all my pumpers.

I got a pair of them as well. Very well built and quite solid. I like em a lot. Those 2 little tabs between each pair I believe seem to take away clamping pressure to the solder joint.
