I had a day home and found that my friend Rick Morrill had sent me some of his .22 bbt hollow points to shoot, as well as some 357 eppug hollow point and new 97 grain 357 pellets. Didn't get a chance to shoot the 357 but had a chance to shoot the .22 hp. I sized them down just a bit to .216 like I did the .22 bbt fp. Ran down to the range and set up at 40 yards with my red open reticle.. and got some nice 5 shot groups with both the hollow point and the flat point. Pulled a flat point to the right on one shot. No doubt with my scope mounted I can really tighten the group up, but 5 in a dime works, and this being my round the house varmint gun I keep the open reticle on. Saves time hunting something in the scope if I'm in a hurry. I'm getting right at 53 ft. lbs for a curve of 15 shots with the hollow points and 55 ft. lbs with the flat point for about 10 shots. I can crank either up to near or over 60 ft. lbs if needed. I think ill stick with the hollow point for the close range work, as they are just as accurate and will give me a bit of expansion at 920 fps. I'm going to shoot some through some jugs of water to see what kind of expansion I get. For me, this is the perfect varmint gun.
Also took a picture of the door mounting kit I got off of amazon, perfect to hang on the closet door, next to the outside door for quick access. They are rubber or vinyl coated as to not scratch your gun.

Daniel, I took your advise & got a hold of Rick. I got the .22 BBT hollowpoint & flat nose pellets. They both shoot well out of my Evanix Rainstorm-I. I also got some of his .25 BBTs too. Thanks for the tip. ;D

Your welcome! Glad they worked out for you, and Rick is a stellar guy to deal with. Our guns are very similar, and its nice to have some ammo options. When I first clean my barrel the un-sized shoot better, later I shoot the .216 better... go figure. I think it has something to do with the choke. I found the same thing with my ace .25 and the 51g bbt.
