Title: Looking for Formal or Informal (preferably) July Shooting Event
Post by: OP on April 16, 2017, 07:27:40 AM
Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but . . .

I am looking for a shooting event to attend in July in either Tennesee, Virginia or Kentucky in July.  Though I would prefer an informal shooting event to provide a mixture of shooting and mingling, a competitive event would be OK too though I am not ready to participate in that kind of shooting.

Why these states?  To avoid intense heat and humidity along with biting critters that's further south in the summer.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Here are some handy resources to get you going:
1. Scroll down the GTA main page to "discussions by state to see what is going on in each particular area.
2. Go to the GTA announcements gate to see what folks are telling each other about  http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?board=118.0 (http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?board=118.0)
3. Other airgun forums have pages that list events as well that are worth keeping an eye on:

http://www.network54.com/Forum/451309 (http://www.network54.com/Forum/451309)
4. And finally, put yourself on the GTA map, and reach out to the members around you to see what they know about.

Good luck!
