Have been a die hard springer guy since 2013, but with the help of my enabling buddy Steve (Nitrocrushr), I am straight PCP now. I received my first PCP rifle last week, a Daystate Air Wolf MCT. I can't say enough about the quality that this company puts out. The craftsmanship is superb, that and quality are certainly a priorty with these people. From the bluing, walnut stock, the Lothar Walther barrel, carbon fiber tank, shroud, suppressor, ergonomics, balance, and electronics ..... I'm impressed with it all. The stock is so nice, a coat of Renaissance Wax is all she is getting. My tank came today, and pellets came earlier this week, when the weather breaks, I'll get on some targets and chrony testing, and post the results. Here are some pics, I'll post more with the scope mounted later.

Good for you and great choice! That's a beauty for sure. I'm still living in springerville but I think I may not be far behind you. I don't want to have to invest in a compressor so I'm still trying to find a source for fills before I make the plunge. Beautiful gun; enjoy!

Me.....an enabler??? No way ;D
Very nice rifle Allan!!! I can't wait to hear your first Wolf reports. I too am extremely impressed with the craftsmanship and quality in the Daystate rifles.

Congrats, look forward to seeing some amazing groups later...one day I'll be able to get a upper end PCP, still been looking hard at the Vulcan Bullpup

Welcome to the Darkside! (time to update your signature)
I love PCP too; easy accuracy and as much power as you want.
BUT...
After you get over the honeymoon period and try your old TX200 again, you might find that there's still a certain charm to not needing any support gear or having to wonder how much air is in the tank or if it's too humid to hand pump, etc. ;)
I like 'em both, but admittedly, I'm more and more PCP these days.

Very nice Allan, good luck with her. How about a report when you get it figured out.

Thanks for the comebacks guys .... I will certainly post review results as I get to them. Today it SNOWED in Pittsburgh!!! Next week I want to chrony a long string, and set my psi ranges using JSB 15.89gr to start. If I can get some air, mount my scope, and chrony next week, I'll be a happy camper. Then we can go out and check some groups with a variety of pellets at 50 yards ... find that "magic" one. This Wolf has a 500cc tank on her, and she is suppose to produce 150/170 accurate shots using the above pellet ... on low power, and 125 shots using high power .... that is insane.
Anyone else have a Wolf MCT FAC? I know all rifles are different, but just for curiosities' sake, what psi do you fill to, and at what psi does the fps drop off. What pellet?
Yes, I have to update my signature, and will .... thanks for the reminder.

I was thinking about buying a used Discovery and taking a hacksaw to it.
Somehow I don't think it'd turn out exactly like that...

I don't know Tater ..... I'm trying to get my stamina back, recovering from surgery. Between going back to work, and scheduling a run close to Cinnci, it may just be too much for me. I certainly would like to go again ..... we'll see what happens .... thanks for asking.
