Another test of the CP1.
Only frot sight I could find was a crappy plastic day-glow sight. Figured out how to mount it on a plastic tube that was a push fit over the 3/4" shorud.
SOMEDAY, I'll likely dupicate that with a steel sight tack-welded onto a steel base tube, all the same size as this plastic-wonder.

Sight is a little high...which makes the rear sight a bit high...but there is reason in that madness. Needs to be a little elevated so that the magazine doesn't block the lower left hand corenr of the rear sight notch.
I could live with it this way...have old eyes, but still can shoot iron sights well enough to keep me totally entertained at 15-25 yards.

looks dam good, whats the front sight from a springer?

Was in a junk drawer....all I know is that it's (1) day glow (2) plastic and (3) shows evidence I cut it off its base. On a guess, a Dasiy or a 1077.
Not sure where the plastic band came from either (I did mention I'm a junk-hound...right?)....looks like something made to connect two sections of 3/4" tubing...maybe a hard plastic part of some solar lawn lights? Whatever, half of it drove onto the shroud by rubber mallet..won't rotate by hand.

sounds good... couldnt be a 1077, too small a pass hole ( .316) .. now ya just need an adjustable stock lol
