I've been bugging the Mrs about another air gun. I already have a RAW HM1000X in .25 on order, since Jan. but need just one more to round out the bunch. I stated that I had already squirreled away the cash and now the gun was available: FX Streamline .22 cal walnut stock. She reminded me that retirement is in our near future and that discretionary spending will be affected . I assured her that I was aware and would take cautious measures. Then I got the green light! So.......hit the button and have a new filly headed to the stable. Can't wait. Got some awesome guns already and love them all. I hope this one is just as great.

Hi Herb ! Congratulations on your new purchase !!! :D Your wife was right about spending reductions in retirement. I have been retired over 2 years now and must watch every penny spent. You might want to carefully plan any AG purchases now while you are still employed. Living on savings and social security will require you to refrain from making any non necessary purchases most of the time. An option to this is to get a part time job and go back to work, but if you do that, then why retire in the first place. I worked 2 full time jobs for 20 years, to help pay for my children's college education. The rest of my working life was quite busy with O.T. and such. Consequently I am quite happy in my retirement and now have the free time to pursue things that I never had the time for before. I wish you all the best in life and hope that you will enjoy your new purchase to the fullest. My Very Best Regards to You. - Tom Wood
