I'm on my last half a tin of beeman fts .22 for my beeman r1,it shoots these great.ive heard that the h&n ftt are the same pellet but would like to hear from experience of what size I need to buy that would be closest to the fts pellets. Also see or is it an older ad that straight shooters has beeman fts pellets. Thanks

Same pellet at elevated price. I would try the 5.54 to start.

Same pellet, as a guess 5.53 or 5.54....not sure how the H&N version is an inflated price though as they come in a 500 count tin for $13.99 at PA vs the Beeman 200 count tin for $9.99 at Straight Shooters which would make 500 of them over $20.

Anything Beeman is an elevated price. Not the OEM product.

Due to inconsistent shooting with H&N I moved to JSB Exact. Try to find one approximating the weight of whatever you've found works well for you.

My R1 loves JSB, Shoots H&N and crosman the same, All over the place.

Thanks for the replies.Since my particular r1 shoots the fts really well I went ahead and ordered a couple of tins from straightshooters.Only place I could find that still sells fts pellets.Spoke with Kevin, really helpful and explained a lot to me about pellets and did say that the fts and h&n are the same pellet but the ones made for beeman seem to be more 5.5mm sized.
