Title: Craigslist find
Post by: USMA-1982 on March 15, 2017, 10:16:50 PM
Found a Gamo Expo-26 in .177 for $30 in decent condition on local Craigslist.  This is my first break-barrel and I figured it might be a fun little rifle to play around with for the price.  From the serial number I'm guessing it's a '97: if there's anyone who can decode Gamo serial numbers it's 04-1C-115591-97.  First thing to do is put it on a chrony and see how it's shooting.  After that a trigger job.  Recoil doesn't seem excessive, but any scope recommendations?

You might have better luck asking these questions in the European/Asian gate of this forum.  Those guys probably know way more about it.
