WOW! Hatsan's springers are not usually crazy money, I wonder $$$.
-
Is it available here yet looks very interesting especially of it functions reliably also what is the MSRP going to be ??
-
Don, It was introduced at the IWA show in Germany. Airgun Depot claims that they most likely will receive the first USA shipment. So I guess coming soon.
-
Thanks for the heads-up. It looks interesting. I hope they make a standard stock (no thumb-hole) version.
-
I'm intrigued.. I like what I'm seeing.
-
Wow, repeating springers went from nowhere to everywhere in a flash.
-
Looks awesome to me
-
This could go to the top of the AFFORDABLE list.

Anybody have any thoughts of what the cocking effort might be in .177 (gas ram 820 fps)?
-
Love the adjustable cheek piece! :-*
Looking at the power levels, it looks comparable to a 95 Vortex. So I would assume about 30-35 lbs cocking effort. I am sure that the indexing system may make it a touch higher... ???

This is wonderful! The cocking lever release under the front sight must work like a 100x or 155. But where the barrel goes into the receiver and the anti-bear trap release on the right side of the receiver looks like a Dominator. The performance numbers are more like a Dominator than either the 100x or 155.

I see one in mine and your future Tim. ;) How do you like the Gamo Swarm so far?
-
So far I haven't had an urge to buy an underlever but the Proxima is one very pretty looking rifle. Shouldn't be too hard to cock one as looking at the fps ratings for the calibers, they're a bit lower than Hatsan's usual 1000 fps in .177, 800 fps in .22 and 650 fps in .25.
Caliber 4.5 mm / .177 cal 5.5 mm / .22 cal 6.35mm / .25 cal
Max. Muzzle Velocity (*) 250 m/s (820fps) 220 m/s (720fps) 190 m/s (620fps)
Magazine Capacity 14 12 10
Also noticed they're finally adding a Turkish Walnut stock to the Model 87 QE's that comes with an adjustable cheek riser. Kinda wish they's do that with the 95's also:

Yogi, 30-35 lb cocking effort would be sweet.

My guess $399. Just slightly more than the Gamo Maxium Swarm break barrel multi shot because of the wood stock ;)
-
I like the $399 lets hope Field Supply stocks it. I got my Hatsan Torpedo 100X for $118 (New not Refurb)from them.
Field Supply if they stock it will have a GREAT SALE PRICE IF YOU CAN WAIT.

The killer price on the 100X Torpedos is due to it being a discontinued model (replaced by the vortex gas ram version). If the new underlever repeater comes in more than $300, Hatsan will be competing with their own PCP's like the AT44. Nice looking rifle tho........

Yep, gonna' have one of those. It'll be at least $400-500. The Dominator hovers around $350.
It's going to be two hand cocking like the Dominator. I'd like to see a carbine model sans the front sight assembly.
The Swarm's fine. A little light for me. I filled the butt stock full of old pellets. If I had seen this Hatsan repeater first I might have past on the Swarm.
I still have two .22 Mendoza 7 shot break barrel repeaters. I like them also but the Swarm repeater function works 100% Vs. the Mendoza's 85-90%. You have to help the Mexican guns now and then but no big deal.
When I reviewed the Swarm I said I'd have preferred something with a wood stock and all steel barrel. Didn't realize The Turks would respond so fast. I'd almost bet that stock would fit a Dominator.
-
I'll buy the swarm off ya. 😆

It's not for sale. I said it's fine and I don't have a Proxima yet. I'll sale you the .25 Norica. or the .20 VMX.
I said wood stock, steel barrel, loose the front sight assembly and rear sight, a carbine version and a springer with sling mounts.
Never mind, it has sling mounts.

anybody seen anything new on this rifle?
-
I thought I'd resurrect this thread after lefteyeshot mentioned it in a pm the other day to see if anyone's heard anything. I called Hatsun and they are not talking.
Also, what would explain the weight of 9.3lbs? Is it because of the underlever? ...or the walnut stock?

Likely both.....Hatsan builds sturdy rifles and they don't scrimp on the steel or Walnut. The underlever design adds a bit of weight, but their break barrel walnut stock rifles aren't lightweights either.
-
I bet the spring weighs 2 pounds cuz my 100x is a rocket!
-
If you saw a 100x, 155 or Dominator you'd see they're built like tanks. The anti- bear trap release lever and the way the barrel attaches to the receiver on the Proxima is similar to the Dominator. Wish they made a carbine version. That front sight is a little big for my taste.
-
based on what information is available (820 fps in .177) ,do you think the cocking effort should be less than all of their other underlevers??? Yes,No,Maybe???

The 820 FPS rating would put it in the Dominator power plant range. I would assume it would be a bit easier to cock than the Torpedo series underlevers, but that is just a guess.
-
Dominators are rated at 1000 fps in the .177 cal. Maybe they are going for a tamer, easy to cock and shoot accurately kinda gun.
-
Kevin, I hope your right, that sounds great. I want one already.
-
The Proxima reminds me of my .177 Dominator carbine. It shoots 800-900 fps. I had a .177 100x and a .22 155 and now I've got the Dominator and a .177 155. They're all two hand cockers.
-
I will be receiving My 100X .25 back today, I traded the SMK 208TH back for it.
-
Don't blame you. I like my Airhawke Elite (208 clone) but a 100x is alot more gun.
-
Greetings, I just found this review of the proxima in Youtube, It is not in english but it gaves chrony numbers and groups at 10, 30 and 50 meters
I cannot post links to external sites so I added some spaces in the link, so be carefull when you copy/paste
www. youtube. com / watch?v=KcTPcyDDjA0
-
Thank you for the link, Francisco. Here's the refreshed link Hatsan Proxima Fun! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcTPcyDDjA0)
14.66 H&Ns at 700 FPS means ~ 16 FPE, and JSB 18.16 @ 670 for 18 FPE. Makes me want one that much more- very manageable, in the ballpark of my 95QE!
-
In the comments of the video they are saying that the price in Turkey will be around 275 usd! that's tempting
-
Hope to see some reviews soon !
Thanks for posting the price in Turkey, it will be interesting to see how that compares to the price in the USA.

If costs from a US vendor doesn't rate favorably, we also have the fall-back vendors of Aceros and Krale.
-
Good point Peter, nice to have a choice .
-
Its ready for pre-order on pyramid air... 399 usd!
-
Thanks Francisco, I'm heading to the PA website now.
-
Got to figure where I can get 400 bucks.
-
Tim, I'm with you. Looking forward to a review. Hatsan never lists the cocking effort in their specs?
-
Considering the power ratings they list for the different calibers: 820 in .177, 720 in .22 and 620 in .25, I'd think the cocking effort would be around 30ish pounds??
-
It reminds me of a Dominator and that's a two hand cocker.
-
looks interesting.
-
Sexy for sure. Love the stock.
Think I will go with a 25 caliber and use it for small game.
-
On the Proxima page PA has an est. in stock date of 9/20/17
-
Reviews should be coming soon. Hope it shoots as good as it looks.
-
PA was listing this for 9/20 in-stock date, now listing for 10/4 in stock????
-
Just ordered a Proxima in .177. With sone discount got it for $370 shipped.
-
Tim, can't wait for you to review it. Congrat's.
-
I like the looks of The Proxima. I've put 1,000 pellets through the Swarm .177 and love it for fast plinking but it's a bit inconsistent and finicky with pellets. This looks like a quality alternative. I'm glad to see more offerings in the repeater, non-pcp category. Now we just need some quality repeater pistols and carbines.
-
My Swarm is not working right. The pellets are falling out the front of the mag. or it seems the probe that pushes the pellets into the chamber is then pulling them out a little then they fall out or get mashed. The guns not under warranty since I replaced the trigger with a GRT and replaced the gas ram with a spring. (I don't care for gas ram) I took it off and took it apart but can't see any obvious damage. when I get a chance I'll see if PA or Gamo will sale me the repeater part or fix it for me for a fee. If not I only paid $20 more than a regular Maxxim for it. It'll make a good single shot with a 10 oz GRT trigger. A bud told me the Sentry PCP's had trouble with the first batch of magazine. I wonder if that's the problem with the swarm.
Can't wait to get the Proxima though. It cost to much though be be moddin'.
-
There is a new review video on Pyramyd air channel on youtube, I like what I see
-
Pretty cool. Tyler had those JSB's rockin @ 45'.
-
Very cool video. Makes me want mine sooner. I ordered mine in .177. Can't Wait. Hope it come before our 10/14 fun shoot so I can show it off to my buds. I've got several guns that are hard to cock. Just use both hands and switch hands now and then. Still wish they had a springer version.
-
Proxima in-stock date now is 10/18/17 at PA
-
looks like all cal .177, 22, 25 all in stock, only 1 left in .177. Should be a lot of reviews soon. I wonder if the cocking effort will be as hard as PA Video claims??
-
My .177 Proxima has been shipped. Tracking says it'll be here tomorrow.
-
Tim, enjoy!!!!
