I will... I've got 4 tins of .30 caliber pellets and a mold for a 68 grain bullet that I'm anxious to try to see if will work in this gun... even though it's liable to be down a 100 to 200 fps slower...

Aloha... Tom

I ordered mine from them on 12/06,but grew impatient when the projected in-stock date was being continually pushed back. I ordered elsewhere and was shooting within a week. Felt bad for cancelling,so I ordered a Sniper 125 in .25 from them which arrived,as usual, quite promptly. Another astounding rifle.

I think that dealers everywhere were justifyably unprepared for the crazy demand for a .30 springer. And that's the most likely reason I can think of regarding Pyramyd's lack of inventory.

You're really going to like that gun,Tom,and you no doubt already know that it likes 50 meter shooting in a big way. And it gets easier and easier to cock as I use it,too.            Bryan

Well it showed up yesterday via Federal Express....  ;D Took three shots with it just to see how it felt... and the cocking effort is a surprise... not insurmountable I wouldn't think for any average person.... but it is ROBUST TO BE CERTAIN..... Never having shot any kind of a springer I was in for a surprise to be sure.... but the three shots I took were right on target.... that alone was gratifying...  8)

Oh,my... from never having shot a springer to buying the .30 breakbarrel :o.  However, regardless of this gun's impressive power,it's so much tamer and easier to shoot accurately than I thought it would be,that I'm not surprised that your initial shots are promising.

Took mine out this morning in between rain showers and amused myself by clocking a 22 ounce steel can stuffed with duct seal over and over again at 50 meters...and this gun has only a couple hundred pellets through it. I'm not surprised about it's accuracy,I just thought that it would require a lot of break-in time to get there...good thing,as these pellets are as expensive as budget rimfire.

Looking forward to a review of this gun from you especially as you're a first-time springer shooter...let alone owner. I think you made a bold move in buying this gun,but I'm sure it's going to be a lot of fun for you. Right away.    Bryan

I'll try to post some targets and chrony numbers with both the 50 grain pellets and the 68 grain NOE bullet sometime tomorrow... I've got some learning to do I'm sure...  :P

Had a chance to take a few shots this morning before chores set in. Highest and lowest for both 50 grain pellet and 68 grain NOE bullet. Somewhat disappointing but going to try a few things today if I can... one, seat the bullet a little further in the barrel as I've read somewhere might improve velocity... we'll see.. right now closing the breech on the bullet after seating it flush gave me the most consistency in shot string. So here it is...

grains   68
speed   386
Bullet Diameter   0.3
KE   22.49245865
Momentum    1.6592
Taylor    1.124914286

grains   68

Try the .30 predator polymags.

Mine eats those like candy and they have very good accuracy, speed, and power from it.

I'm trying all sorts of things right now... another option I just found is a .300 buckshot mold from Sharpshooter usa... I ordered it and also anohter .360 caliber mold since my LEE mold has a damaged fill hole on both cavities.... so we see...  8)

The .300 lead ball is about 40 grains in weight, so it will be interesting to see what comes of this. I expect faster... but who knows.. faster by say 100 fps and you still have a viable projectile....

grains   40
speed   600
Bullet Diameter   0.3

Momentum   1.5171

If close, Drop at 50 yards would be -7 inches... and energy to 13 :D
