I have only been able to shoot my 95 22 cal indoors at 13 yards. I have been spending the time adjusting the trigger to my preferences. I have noticed though that It is always shooting low.... about 2.5 inches even topping out the adjustments on the Hawke 4-12x50 IR.
Is this common because Im shooting too close and the pellet is coming on plane at a particular zero?
Or do I need to have to raise up the scope with a riser? Im just running scope rings but I do have a UTG rail that I can mount.
I have been shooting multiple pellets from diablo 18.13, 14.3 crossmans and beemans, Kodiak heavies etc

yes it sounds like a droop compensating mount would help , is the one you have adjustable or preset degree of compensation ?
Just raising the scope height wont be enough , others may also suggest bending the barrel down to make that adjustment .

Well after inspection of my scope rings I realized I cracked a base on the rings so that what happened with my elevation. I had a +10 utg mount that I had just sitting around so I mounted that base so I can run weaver grandslam low rings.
The problem now is that my horizontal adjust went is maxed out left and its still about 1/8 inch off center. Im going to try and flip the ring mounts the other way to see if that helps....

After about 200 million different scope base combinations I finally have it locked in.... Gun is shooting one hole in another.... no problems with scope maxing out....
I forgot how "colorful" springers can be....

Hey Dave,
My default was to shim the rear scope ring using the plastic strips from a Yogurt container. Two thin strips usually was the fix.
Bending the barrel slightly, is the permanent cure ;).
I never bought a drooper mount - too expensive vs. other solutions ;D.

Yea, that was going to be my next go to if the base/ring combination didnt do the trick. ;)
