Well, I was going to get the Boyds Evo and was pretty much set on that. Then I sae a picture of it on Disco's R Us and decided that I really didn't like the look as much as on a 10/22. Amazingly enough, a good member PM'd me an off to buy this one. Oh yeah, fits me like a gloove!
Now to tune this puppy for about 800 fps HFT style shooting...

I like your choice of stock design, much better than the Evo. I have never liked the Evo or anything about it. I intend to order the same thumbhole varmint for my Disco. Just cant decide between sky or coyote color. Is that satin finish on your new stock?

Yes, I agree; good choice. I want some wood between the forearm and the barrel. That big air space between the forearm and barrel on the Boyd's Evolution and Barracuda stocks just don't do it for me on an airgun. They look OK on a Ruger 10/22 however.

Quite the attractive stock! :)

Very nice eye candy there ;D

I think it is satin. Unlike any of my other rifles. Almost looks like it was put to a buffing wheel is the only way I can describe it. That may have something to do with the laminate? I think this one is called Pepper. This one is the same color as my old M-rod SC stock.
Blue or Red or Forest Camo was where I was stuck when I was thinking of a new one! I don't think you can go wrong, they all look pretty darn good to me!

That looks to be the normal satin finish from Boyds. I have that stock (different color) on a Savage 22-250. I also have a Blaster that has gloss, but it was done by Norm, not Boyds.
