I am a newbie and am thinking about buying these 2 items from AOA:
1 - Daystate Regal XL .22 Air Rifle
2 - Omega 75 cu. ft. 4500 psi Portable Air Tank
I need some input from all you experts.
How many fills can I get with this tank ?
What brand of pellet should I get ? Is Crosman Premier Hollow Point Pellet .22 cal, 14.3 Gr. good enough ?
Thanks !!!

I have the Huntsman Regal XL .25 and love it CF Tank as far as I know OMEGA is a good product but no personal experience there . As far as pellets try several some may shoot better for you than others Try the 14.34 GR Air Arms pellets they shoot well in several of my AG's

Thanks for quick response. Just wonder how many refills (from 2000psi->3000psi) can I get with 75CF tank capacity regardless what brand it is, because I don't want to drive so often to get the tank filled up again.
Thanks

I think that filling the tank to 4500 PSI will net you ~70 to 80 fills when you fill the rifle from 2000 psi to 3000 psi . The Huntsman works best from ~ 2800 PSI down to ~ 1800 psi for about 30 shots

Do the math here: http://calc.sikes.us/2/ (http://calc.sikes.us/2/)

Get the items man you'll be so glad you did

Thank you guys.
The calculator indicates I should get around 55 fills.
According to @William, 50 shots after the break in period but he filled it to 3200PSI.
I own a shotgun and a deer hunting rifle, both Browning but never have an air gun.
One more question. I plan to use the scope from my hunting rifle. What fitting do I need to set it up ?
Thanks.

just curious here,
Are the Omega air cylinders, (at 75 cu. ft.), different (larger), than a typical 45 minute/66 cu.ft. SCBA air cylinder ?
on Lloyds chart,
I see 4500 psi CF cylinders listed as 75 cu. ft., and SCBA's listed as 66 cu.ft.
just looking for a little clarity
Thanks
