The Crosman 102 has a good peep site that I can use pretty well with my post cataract surgery eye. But I have been reading about scout scopes, or front mounted scopes which would work on the Crosman. I have a Leupold M8 2x20mm EER Handgun Scope that I don't use any more. Relief may be a little too much but it's no cost at this point. Have some barrel gripping mounts coming Monday. For $10 could be fun experiment. That scope cost me more than the 102 about 15 years ago! It's black so should look quite good, and maybe a bit strange hanging out on the barrel? We will see. In reading a pistol scope may be a better fit for a pellet gun because they are geared for parallax at 50 yards rather than a true scout scopes 150 yards. No question old eyes work best with scopes.
