As I await the arrival of my Disco, I am in need of a scope. My brother let me know he has a scope I can get from him. 3 x 12 x 40. All I needed to buy was some rings. I got these rings for $14 at Fleet Farm.

Ive made a couple version of Lead Dust Collectors that are sitting and waiting to be tested. I hope its arrives on Wednesday as expected. This waiting is for the birds. >:(

Scope looks nice. Rings look way too tall/high.
-
I looked for tall (shoot through) rings so I can get my sausage fingers under the scope to load a pellet.

Just out of curiosity how do you plan to fill the gun? Via hand-pump or tank?

Im starting with a hand pump. If I dont care for that I will upgrade to a tank.

That's true. I've turned scopes 90° so the adjustment knobs are on the top and left to give more loading clearance. But that only works with a plain crosshair.

On my Disco, I have medium rings (not see through). They give me perfect line of sight height with no problems loading. I have a 40mm objective scope. If you plan to shoot close like 15 to 20 yards, you will need a adjustable objective scope to focus.

I highly recommend doing some research on the closes places where you can get a tank filled with HPA and investing in the air venturi 90 cubic inch tank.
I didn't start out with a hand pump so I don't know what its like pumping them up, I made that decision only because I have a paintball field 2 minute drive from my house that fills HPA.
I think a quality hand pump (which is definitely what you want with hand pumps) go for ATLEAST $200 maybe even $300? I may be wrong. But last I checked a hand pump that was worth buying was almost as much as the air venturi 90 cubic inch tank.
So through my experience, see how close a store is that fills HPA and maybe invest in the tank. All depends on how far the drive is. Cause the filling only cost a few dollars.

I bought the Benji pump with the Disco as a package from Cabelas. They should be here next week.

I did about the same as you, I bought my Disco and the Benj pump came with it. It only took me one day to figure out the hand pump was worthless for me. I contacted a local scuba shop and bought a used aluminum 80 scuba tank. It was $134 out the door and had a fresh hydro/visual plus a 3200psi fill. I ordered the air station online for $27 shipped. The tank is a godsend after dealing with the worthless hand pump.

Yeah after 4 years of hand pumping I realized I wasn't shooting enough lead down range with my pcps :-[

i've had the disco and pump for a few years it can be a chore to fill with the benj. pump. the hill pumps are way better. the biggest problem with benji pump is no desiccant filter so water build up in it. i use my benj. pump as a backup pump and to fill my hipac guns they are smaller volume and lower psi so it is easy even with benji pump. if you do stay with the hand pump first thing to do would be get desiccant filter and some silicone grease. when you install the moisture filter tare down your pump remove any water that has built up and grease her up. this will prevent you from having issues with pump and reduce pumping effort. i would buy a oring kit or two although when i had issues it only needed water removed and relubed. i don't have a moisture filter on mine yet so i need to remove water and relube a lot more often.
but get use to taking it apart (easier than you think) because any hand pump is going to need it periodically
