Title: Help! Help! Does anyone know

what size the two screws are that hold the forearm grip on a Crosman 2400KT? I can't find any parts diagram for that Custom Shop carbine. Any help is certain appreciated.

I just removed one from mine. They are #6, but I don't know the pitch. They appear finer than the standard 6-32. If you have an Ace hardware close by, they carry gun screws in their specialty fastener selection. And you could call Crosman CS.

Thanks, Scott and Ken. I took mine to the Ace Hardware this morning and the guy was perplexed. Could NOT find a match. He's been working with me for years so he knows his way around the store. I'll try and call Dave this afternoon.

Dave is your best bet for the forearm grub screws. Definitely give him a call.

If it's a #6 with finer than 32tpi, it's a #6-40.  Crosman uses this uncommon thread for the valve retention as well.

Called Dave. It's a 5-40. I've always wondered why #5 screws are oddballs. 4-40, 6-32, 8-32....weird.
