I'm searching for #8 screw flat washer with OD of .25. I've searched everywhere I know of but they're all .375 OD. This washer will fit under the cocking lug bolt in a custom hammer for the Marauder. Alternatively, somewhere to source the stripper bolt (aka cocking lug) with shorter threads but longer top section than OEM.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try the McMaster-Carr catalog. Alternatively put the washer onto a number eight screw, tighten the nut, chuck it into a drill, and while spinning the drill apply pressure from a file. It goes pretty quickly.

I'll have to give that a shot. I need 50 of em tho! :) I have a lathe so that might not be a bad option to at least try. I could make a fixture to hold it out away from the chuck and put a file to it.

If you have a lathe why don't you just drill some .250" stock and part off as many washers as you need?

The closest I could find was a Belleville washer for a socket head screw at McMaster Carr.

@fivestar. I could certainly do that but was trying to avoid that time spent, and wasted material. I need 50 of em. The cutoff tool is thicker than the washer I need so every washer produced would waste more than that material. Not a big cost but was just trying to avoid. I did find some DOM tubing with close dimensions that I could do the same with to avoid the drilling operation.

I just made my own cocking lugs for the hammers in my BRod builds.... I took an 8-32 SHCS, installed a hex nut tightened against the head with green Loctite (won't budge once set)... I then chucked it in the lathe and turned both the nut and bolt head down to 1/4" to clear in the cocking slot in the receiver....

What about going the other way. Get some .250 OD washers, stack them up and drill out the hole to your #8 bolt size?

Are these washers required to be made from metal? If you can get away with delrin you could knock them out in no time, and cheaply.

Thanks for the responses. Hopefully I've eliminated the need for these. I appreciate the help.
