Title: Bullboss spare mag holder ideas?
Post by: Bishopsfriend on January 14, 2017, 06:45:21 PM
Hi All,  I'm looking for ideas to store a magazine or two somewhere on my 2 Bullboss air rifles.  I have a .177cal and a 22cal.  I have seen a few pics where mags are stored on the left side of the scope mount but I don't have the skills or the design expertise to make one myself.  It appears there are possibilities somewhere in / on the butt stock or cheek comb.  Maybe even under the fore stock?  Anyway it would be fun to hear what wild and creative ideas you can come up with.  Doesn't have to be pretty. Thanks, Dave

How about something to fit in that empty spot behind the pistol grip?  I know Charlie of Georgia Airguns uses small (but strong)  magnets to mount spare mags on Crickets with skeleton stocks.  Maybe that would work?

I was thinking the same thing.  Maybe something like a spring and bolt mechanism?

Dumb thought maybe but PA type pellet foam and some velcro, cut snug to fit tight in the butt stock should easily hold 2 mags, maybe even 3 and by using velcro easily removed if you wanted to.
