Title: Hatsan USA Corp. News
Post by: Yogi on January 11, 2017, 04:09:00 PM
I just thought I would share this:
http://hardairmagazine.com/news/hatsanusa-expands-larger-facility/ (http://hardairmagazine.com/news/hatsanusa-expands-larger-facility/)

Not sure if there will be a temp. service hiccup, but longer term should be good news.

They couldn't do that when I was in Rogers!!!
Of course that is home to Daisy, now owned by Gamo.
Could we be seeing a buy out by Gamo here?

Gamo has already acquired Daisy.  http://hardairmagazine.com/news/gamo-acquires-daisy/ (http://hardairmagazine.com/news/gamo-acquires-daisy/)

Ah, never mind, I see you were thinking Gamo acquiring  Hatsan or vice versa.  That is kind of odd to build something in your rival's backyard.  I wonder which one is bigger?

I do believe I said that already.
"Of course that is home to Daisy, now owned by Gamo."

My concern is this....
IF Gamo has grabbed HatsanUSA, and that is an IF.

Do We now face Gamo type support?
I do hope not!

I hope not too. I suppose Gamo makes some good AG's, but the only one I owned was a POS and was quickly sold. OTOH, I've been pleased with Hatsan's offerings and service. I suppose anything is possible in the world of Acquisitions & Mergers, but I get the impression that Hatsan is more dominate with PCP's and innovative new conventional AG's.

Cecil Bays posts regularly on Facebook. You could ask him about it. I'm doubtful though because I don't see how Gamo could acquire Hatsan USA when that is a division of Hatsan. Gamo would have to buy out Hatsan, in Turkey, to take over Hatsan USA I think. If they had done that, it would have made news, if not here, then overseas.

This is amazing lol
I live in the northwest Arkansas area (where rogers is). We have two of the biggest poultry producers and the biggest retail giant a long with two Fortune 500 trucking companies that all share the same area. This was most likely a move to a bigger area because just like they said, they have grown such a big company they ran out of space.
