Title: Smith & Wesson MP45 CO2
Post by: mobilemechanic on January 05, 2017, 05:18:58 PM
The mailman just delivered my new toy today. Down to the basement range for a test shoot, what a hoot !Trigger pull double action pretty stiff, single action about 5 lb and a fairly clean break, trigger is nice and wide so didn't feel like 5 lb. I would say accuracy is acceptable for my poor eyesight and a $60.00 gun, about 2 inch at 21 feet combat range. I can really make the pop cans fly double action. Can't wait for my grandkids to show up I know they will love it. I do really need to teach them some handgun safety, they are all real good with long guns as I have had then shooting since they were 6 or 7 years old. I would recommend one of these to anyone who would like to just shoot for some fun in the basement for the winter. I got just over 100 shots on one CO2, also order extra rotary magazines because you can empty them pretty fast !

You need at least 4 mags and a truck load of pellets and co2. They are fun guns to shoot. I have a red dot on mine.

Sounds like a ton of fun!

I have been having a hard time convincing my wife airguns are fun.  She liked my PP700 pistol, but it's a single shot.  She enjoys the trigger on the P-17, but I cock/load it, she shoots it.  She doesn't think CO2 is the way to go :(   Now, she is fond of any gun as long as it has that S&W logo (she loves her M&P powderburners), so... Would you consider this a good choice for somebody into the M&P series?  I'd say yes, but the voice of experience carries more weight.

She shoots this thing, you will go broke real quick supplying her with ammo and co2. I get about 80 or so shots with it depending on the temperature at the time. This gun does well with wad cutters.

I have 2 different mounts for these guns.
