Wanting to try out some slugs in my 35cal Hercules and my bt65 30cal.
Also for the 30cal Hercules.
Seen someone made up some awesome 357 slugs but they don't seem to be in stock yet.
Thought I would look on pa and find some slugs to try out but most everyone (357) people said they bought them and wouldn't fit down barrel or shoot well.
Anyone had any luck with hatsan and slugs?
I did a mod on my Hercules 35 and I can hand load slugs up to 145gr.
I'm really wanting to try some 118ish gr.

Any idea what the twist rate is on the 35? I think your best bet would be to talk to Nick at Nielsen specialty ammo. I've had some pretty good luck shooting the 105 grain SWC from a 1:16 twist ( cast my own) . If your serious about shooting bullets. You'll want to slug the barrel to measure lands and grooves and get an accurate measurement of twist rate. The slugs chosen will be a reflection of those measurements.

Thx
Im still a newbie on a lot of things and this would be one of them.
Seems I have yet more learning to do.

I just bought a bullet mold from NOE for 68 grain boattail. $96 for 3 cavity with air mail.
Aloha.. Tom

I'm sure the barrels on the Hatsans are choked. Going to be hard finding a slug that will out perform pellets in a barrel made for pellets.
