How many ACCURATE, HI-POWER shots are you getting? Mine is stock and I get 4-5 accurate HI-POWER shots per fill with an avg of 142 fpe with 81 gr JSB's...Yea, I can get more shots on LO POWER but, I really just hunt with these rifles, not paper punch. Thanks

Yup I'm running the same here on a stock Recluse. Though I am considering a regulator for it just to keep the shot string a little more consistent.

What exactly do you mean by "HI POWER"? Mine was losing 150 PSI to 200 PSI with each high power shot from 3000 psi down to about 1800 to 2000 PSI. I'd not be considering 142 FPE to be a disappointing average whatsoever... that's pushing over 900 fps down to probably 850 or 875 fps to get that kind of an average you still have a point blank range from the muzzle to over 50 yards on a 3" kill zone if you're hunting.... and from 10 yards to over 40 for a 1" kill zone... There is not much you can't kill with an accurate head shot, and if you're hunting big game... how many do you want in a day... We bought a buddy tank from Air Venturi for a little over $300 that will keep you topped off at about 2800 or 2900 PSI while in the field for hunting that keeps me shooting happily for quite a while... never measured all the shots but enough to keep me shooting for an hour by itself.
On the question of accuracy... I haven't found the Recluse to be anything but accurate for me with open sights and shooting at out to 30 yards down to 1800 PSI.
Much Aloha,
Tom

IN MY OPINION if you are getting a 2" group at 50 yards with all that goes on with this gun with each shot, you are doing very well... and with a pellet no less.... ;D
