I know the title will draw in many angry people from the older generation haha
today on facebook crosman is asking people to post pictures of themselves with their 9mm or .357's to test 145gr's
"If you have a 9mm/.357 big bore airgun and would like to test some Nosler Ballistic Tip 145gr bullets, post a photo of you and your rifle and we'll be in touch."
Dont kill me for the title :)

So how do you post on facebook and still maintain your privacy? Is that possible?
Thanks,

I think so, but it's tricky. I'm fairly new to Facebook myself. If/when you set up a Facebook page, scroll all the way to the bottom and click on "privacy" to learn more.

i do believe in the top right if you go to privacy settings, then just crank everything to maximum. I have my pictures and wall set to friends only, but info is set to friends of friends. then i blocked all game and app invitations
facebook isnt as bad as most people think

I have it, i use it to keep in touch with out of state friends and relatives....share pics of my kids with them...cheaper than calling all the time and easier than emails.. we even set up a fan page for our daughters basketball team. I would like to see an Airgun page...

i belong to 3 airgun pages i believe, one of them being crosman

Don't do social networks here. Sorry.
Haven't felt the need to leave my information open to cyber-thiefs, and to members of our degenerate subculture.
It's a shame, but that's the way it is.
Ye ole geezer.

Agreed. I didn't have interest in it before, don't have any interest now, and doubt I will have any in the future. Just not for me.

I'm on the big bore, airgun hunting, and crosmans pages. As for privacy, If you have an account on the upper right there is a tab that says account. Click it and then privacy. I have all of mine set to friends only.

If Facebook isn't your bag, follow us on Twitter: http://twitter.com/crosmancorp (http://twitter.com/crosmancorp)
The same news is posted there along with some Twitter-only deals. It's also the best place to follow us during events and roadtrips aka when we go hunting.

facebook is perfectly secure, set all of your info to friends only... or just dont put it at all
its secure as long as you dont add anyone as a friends, you would be opening the door for someone by adding them, they cant just look you up and steal anything

What is facebook ?

What is facebook ?
Social Networking site that can also be used for business. You should start up a Hawaii airgunning page Nomadic! Lots of hunting pages on there I'm sure.

Why the insecurity of having to tell people what you do all the time? Facebook, twitter and the rest of that &^^& wastes time and keeps many from doing much of anything productive. Even this site can get that way at times.
If I want to talk with someone I will call, visit or write a letter. It is is quick and dirty I can email but so much is lost without the personal touch.

It's all in how it's used. I don't use it like people use twitter. I have friends I block from my news feed page because they are obsessed with facebook and post 10-20 times a day. That isn't how I use it....I use it as a way to get a hold of people, and for people to get a hold of me. Like when people change their numbers, move, years pass, etc.

I got this message from a facebook addict friend of mine.
ATTENTION: Friday, Facebook will become owner of the publishing rights of ALL your private photos. You need to make a simple change: go to 'account', 'account settings', 'facebook adverts'(along the top), 'ads shown by third parties', choose 'NO ONE' then SAVE. 2 minutes' job. And please Share share share. (for those who haven't done this yet..)
