It took me quite awhile to get set up to do 100 yards. I trudged through the snow to set my target up and also had to dig out the snowbank so I could move my bench back far enough towards the house. After taking a few shots to get on target I tried to shoot a group. My first shot landed low and I cannot tell you how peeved I was that it happened! My previous few shots on another target were right on the money and of course when I try to shoot a group on my last N.U.A.H. target my first shot misses. I still took five more shots and them 5 made a pretty nice group (1 7/8") inside 4moa. Not sure if this counts where I do have a shot outside the 4moa circle but regardless I will be trying again when I get some more target printed. I hope to get a group at 100 yards inside the 2moa circle eventually.
I was shooting my BSA scorpion .22 w/SWFA 12x42 scope. JSB 18.1's at 26fpe. The wind was around 5mph at its strongest but I tried to shoot between gusts.
The first photo shows a view from my bench to the target, then 2 photos from 50 yards, one looking at the target and one towards my bench. And a couple photos of the target itself. Let me know what you think, this 100 yard stuff is fun!!! 8)

When you click on them, they enlarge, so they're fine like that. Nice shooting!

Upload to Photobucket, then click on your Photobucket photo. On the right side of the page will be a link that says "Direct Link", click on that and it will copy the link. Then paste here in GTA inbetween the BBCode

Remove the spaces between the "img"

Well, you should qualify as a Member of NUAH, IMO, you only need 3 of 5 shots within the 4 MOA circle for that.... Welcome to the group of crazies !!!

I'll give that a try next time Chris thank you. I have used photobucket before and remember that it was a pain in the rear....
Thanks Jerry and Bob! I can see now just how difficult it will be to get all my shots inside the 2moa....

Good shooting, congrats on making it in the club. I have the same snow problem you have, a little more work retrieving targets.
-
Thanks Robert, you probably get more snow up there than we do. I could snowblow a path up through to where I set my targets but I don't mind.... yet. The snows only 6 inches deep now.

Nice shooting! Been wanting to try this but snow isn't my friend haven't been shooting because of it and the extra work it makes for me. We too have 5" on the ground with 2-5" predicted today into tonight and then Friday Saturday and Sunday in the single digits/negatives :P

I have about four feet in my backyard, luckily the snow is hard and I can walk on top without falling through but to cold to shoot.
-
Thanks Dillon! Holy smokes 4 feet!!! We're in paradise compared to you Robert...

That is just in my backyard where it is open to the wind, had a two day blizzard last week, above normal snowfall so far this year.

Way to go and welcome to the club!

Thanks Jim! I have some more targets printed out so if the temp ever rises a bit then I'll give it another go (it's -4 now >:(). If for no other reason than it's good fun!

Congrats Justin, I use Post Image for my forum pictures, in my opinion it's simpler, and you don't have to allow a ton of scripts to run. Nice shooting, I manged to get three in on my first target, and I know how you feel when you fire a shot, and either it gets pulled or for some weird reason you get a "weak" shot that messes up your group. I too will be working on moving up the ranks as this is indeed quite fun, and great practice for long range powder burner shooting too.
