Anyone hunt with a qb rifle? Qb78 or 79
-
Back when my 78 deluxe was operational I used to take squirrels and chipmunks inside of 12 yards with mine.
-
I've taken plenty of starlings and a some pigeons with my MM tuned .177 cal QB 78-D. I also have one in .22 cal,,, also tuned by MM and it's a fine hunter. Using Predator pellet I have taken nutters with it and even whacked a couple of g-hogs. The g-hogs were close range, within 20 yards. It's a fine hunting rig if the weather cooperates.

I use mine for rabbit out to 40 yards. it.s a .22 and loves the hobbies. very accurate rifle topped with a bushy 4x32 AO. Love the rifle...

My QB wouldn't kill a starling let alone a tree-rat at 30yr until i rebuilt the probe (after i broke it) and added a screw in the spring chamber to increase the strikers force. Now they drop like pest.

oh yes... qb ownership= tuning and rebuilding time... i did all the seals and the port. I get consistent 550 fps with hobbies (45 shots)

Cool I have roy weid building two for me. Howies old .22 is getting modded to push 14 grainers over 730 and I'm having roy make me a.25 pushing 21 grainers at 680 sweet both with custom stocks
