I am looking for a basement informal 10 meter rifle. Please give me your opinion of the two I am looking at. Thanks so Much!

I love my Edge.
The edge with sights is about 2/3 the price of the Ar20.
The edge is regulated and gets about 100 shots per fill.
The ar20 is regulated also, and gets significantly more as the reservoir is larger.
Both shoot about the same velocity.
The edge weighs less.
The edge is easily scoped.
Out to 25 yards, with a scope, empty .22 shells don't stand a chance..
Like all gun choices,
it depends on what you like...
And what you want to spend...

For casual target shooting the cheaper Edge is better.
But if you are going to get serious about your score, I have read comments on TargetTalk that AF needs to refine the Edge more, before it is competitive. FYI, this is version 1 of the Edge.
The current Crossman Challenger is their version 2 rifle. The 2009 Challenger (version 1) had 'new rifle' issues, which were fixed in the version 2 rifle. I would hope that AF will do similar and come out with a more refined version 2 rifle.
I would think the Hammerli AR20 would be a better rifle, but I understand that there was a period when due to ownership change, quality dropped. I don't know the rifles which may have been affected by that.
For more specifics, go to www.targettalk.org (http://www.targettalk.org) and go to either air rifle or youth sections.
The Edge discussions are in the Youth section.
