Shooting at 100m at EBR (Finals) I suppose that's qualify for the NUAH.
25 shots, I think 14 or so shots where within 1.5".
Total score 197 & 4X
WAR Flex, .22 caliber. Apache rear stock.
Ps. The extra hit on target 20 (far right, second row from the bottom, the next lane shooter had a drift over....30 cal)

Hi Tom
Yes I feel there are many shots in that target that would classify you for the N.U.A.H. Club but I have several questions.
What is the diameter of the large red ring? What is the overall diameter of each of the targets. Do you have the actual target? If so can you get a better close-up of it?
It looks like the best targets are #s 9, 11, 12 14, and 16is that correct? Top left target is #1 second row left target is #6 and so on

The large red ring's outer dia is 2"
-
Do you mean the "4" ring is 2" diameter.... or is that the OD of the "8" ring?....
Bob
-
8 ring.
Target Size Measures:
X ring ……… 0.200
10 ring……… 0.475
9 ring………. 1.250
8 ring………. 2.000
7 ring……… 2.800
6 ring……… 3.580
5 ring……… 4.50
4 ring……….5.125

The NUAH target 9 ring is 4.00" diameter, and the rules for the various rankings are in this thread.... http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=100865.0 (http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=100865.0)
I don't know what order you shot the targets, but if you shot them by row, for example, whatever your best row would qualify for would seem to be a reasonable way to assess your ranking.... If you shot them by column, then the best column could be used.... I don't think there is any doubt that you have qualified as a "Member", as the requirement is only 3 shots out of 5 within or touching the 4.00" circle at 100 yards.... Shots completely within the "5" ring (ie not touching the outer ring itself) would likely be touching the "9" ring on a NUAH target, certainly any shot touching the "6" ring (which is 3.58") would qualify as a "hit" within the 4.00" ring on a NUAH target.... JMO, I would leave the call up to Norm....

I shot row by row. And the best row was #3 (middle row)
-
Without an accurate measurement, it would be difficult to confirm that middle row as having 5 shots under 1" C-T-C (biggest spread is shot #3 to #5).... They certainly are all clearly inside the 2.00" diameter "8" ring.... If they were all shot in a consecutive 5-shot group on a NUAH target, and the group measured under 1.00" C-T-C that would qualify as "Master".... If the group is 1.01" or larger C-T-C then it would rank "Sharpshooter".... Again, JMO, what Norm decides is what counts....

If you are measuring a group all the shots on row 3 is either high or right of center. so half the distance to the outside of the 8 ring is 1"
So if all 5 shots where shot on the same target the group center would probably be around or less than 1"

1st and I should have said this before is congrats on making it to the EBR Finals. What place did you finish?
Thank you very much Bob with your input on this. Your are correct doing it by row is as close as we get to one target.
Tom thank you for the additional targets and the overlay that truly shows the group you shot.
Stay tuned to see your placement when I get a little more time today. I'm not giving it away till it shows up on the list even if my decision is already made. ;D ;D ;D

Thank you Norm
I ended up in 9th place. I think I was the only one shooting a .22 in the Sportsman Category.
The rest of the field where mostly .30, a couple .25.
-
Oohh, thank you Norm, I am honored.
Btw, if anyone is interested the app used to calculate the group, is an app called "Range Buddy"
-
No, Thank you Tom and Tommy as it is an honor to have two GTA members that competed in the finals at the EBR.
Great job and I am sure every GTA Member feels the way I do.
