I am having a problem with my Rainstorm .357. Every time I try to fill it with air it shoots the air probe out. I can hear air leaking out around the probe.
Anybody got any suggestions ?

Change out that fill probe for a Foster fitting. I had Will Piatt change out the one on my .22 RS-I a few years ago & not a problem since.

Change Orings and use silicon grease.

changing out the O-rings and silicon grease sounds like it may help. I have not shot the gun in over a year. I will give that a try.
Thanks

Stuck fill valve o-ring?

Stuck fill valve o-ring?
Sorry, but what does that mean ? Is that the O-rings on the fill probe, or o-rings somewhere else ?

O-ring on the fill valve has mushed and glued the valve shut during long storage due to the pressure inside the tube.

OK Thanks, I have the fill probe with me today, I'm going to find some O-rings that fit it. Due to health reasons I have not been able to shoot my PCPs for a long time. I missed taking them out and shooting. I got to feeling a little better and took the Rainstorm to the range. It filled perfect the first time, and shot a great 50 yard group. When I tried to refill it is when the air probe started popping out.
I guess this just goes to show, you should never stop shooting, no matter how bad you feel.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Problem fixed. I went to Monroe Gasket with the air probe and they found O-Rings to fit it. The manual said it was a 2mm x 5mm O-Ring. Monroe Gasket did not have any metric O-rings. The ones they had that fix it where "009 Bura 75D". In case anyone else needs to replace O-Rings.
When they looked at it they said the O-ring closest to the tip had a crack in it. That was probably the reason it was shooting out when I tried to add air.
I just filled up the gun. Good as new.
Thanks Again
