Title: Brass Pivot Washer DIY
Post by: o-townFLA on October 02, 2016, 01:29:39 AM
So I was experiencing the dreaded barrel wobble slop in both my Benjamin Steel Eagle and Summit. So I decided to make some brass pivot washers...

I purchased some 5/16 flat brass washers from lowes

I had to bore out the center hole with 23/64 drill bit and file/sand down the washer to 18.24mm to fit the pivot slot.

I added some 5/64 holes and beveled them with a 1/8 glass/tile bit to help with lubrication. I also dimpled them with a center punch to help with holding lubrication

I then lubed em up with some Honda Moly 60 paste and finished the install

Some of the tools I used

Viola...
