Title: Tactical Marauder .177
Post by: WHITEFANG on September 24, 2016, 03:49:48 PM
Another FANG stock conversion. Newly aquired Gen 2 Marauder. 177.

Tapco Ruger 10/22 Tactical stock. Nice new balance of the gun. Also as all the others I have converted, these conversions aid in LOP and great rear focal view to the scope.
Lane regulator and WAR DE bounce hammer.💀

Thanks! ! Many of my conversions are different. The Ruger 10/ 22 tactical is a good starter. Many different brands and styles available. This is # 4 off that platform. The most different is the Theoben MKII in the  Ruger 10/22 tactical platform.

Could not tell you yet. Never shot this gun. Bought it and went straight into the conversion.

All the others that were converted shoot great before and after.  But it does change the feel, balance and scope focal adj much better.

I like it!  I doesn't look near as heavy as my Armada. What is it weighing in at?

Not sure. The stock was much lighter than the factory.  That Utg 4-16x44 30mm SW compac busted the weight lose.  💀

On this stock I had to open up the top forarm some where the tube fits then open the rear for the rear tube as well.

This stock was a full stock where the Archangel are 2 and 3 peice.
Was not hard but this was not my first.

Blizzard, RS2 9MM,  THEOBEON MKII and now this one. All in a Ruger tactical platform .

Project is complete. Carbon fiber barrel sleeve, lane regulator, extra tube Guage and foster block made using the factory foster cap. Enlarged transfer port, factory hammer with slight mod, trigger spring changed for lighter trigger pull and lighter hammer spring. TAPCO Ruger 10/22 tactical stock conversion with some extra changes. Lower rail covers and the AR 15 weaver slot rail cover's for the side rails.

Reg is set at 1900 psi. Tuned to shoot CP 10.5 @ 900 fps. 60+ shots with the current set up. WAR SSG hammer not installed at this time.

This was a super clean conversion on the stock and the additional tube psi gauge and foster fill mod worked out very good and safe.  Accuracy at 25 yards so far indicates a 1 holer if the gunner does his or her part. Very pleased with this project and the results.
