Title: SPA P12 BULLPUP FROM MROD AIR
Post by: Zachary Hoy on September 19, 2016, 04:40:56 PM
This will be an ongoing thread for anyone interested. I just ordered a P-12 from mrodair.com in 22 cal. I will be doing a full review from the perspective of your average everyday consumer. I'll detail my experience from shipping time, box stock performance, and final performance after any mods if needed. I had a hard time finding any reviews when researching my purchase so hopefully this will help anyone else make their decision.

Be warned that he is a real shady vendor.

I'm getting mixed reviews from members about him. My personal dealings have been stellar. He has answered every question promptly. I just inquired about a shipping date and this was the response " Ships tomorrow brother. I test all P-12 before shipping so they are good to go right out of the box. When it arrives later this week, just load and shoot. Optimum fill pressure is 2700 psi and gets about 50 shots per fill." So as of 9/19/2016 I have only good things to say. I don't like to eat crow so I won't say that anyone is wrong. Just at this point I have had a pleasant customer experience. Why do you think him shady? At this point I cannot say anything negative......................will keep everyone updated to my personal experience.

Here's just a couple examples......

Here is the one BBB complaint text

Complaint
Airman 4500psi compressor did not work was requires replacement parts that can not be bought or will not be supplied.
2/3/16 I bought the AIRMAX 4500 psi air compressor for $1304 and it was delivered not working and needing parts, warranty req. 20% restocking fee and shipping cost. After I put hundreds into this compressor parts are going bad that I can not buy and Mrod-air will not replace. This unit was advertised as always having the spare parts on hand. ************ will not return calls and emails.

Desired Settlement
As this compressor can not safely run with the proper replacement parts it is nothing more then junk. The oil bypassing the rings and being pushed into the high pressure chamber could cause an explosion at the 4500 psi operating pressure. So I should be refunded the full price for as a non working unit.

Now "Rick" in the above post sent his gun back to MRodAir and did not receive his $$ back. He has been trying to email and phone Mike but gets no reply. In fact he posted that in the below post on the yellow......................but when you click on the link you will find nothing there, that's because MRodAir is a sponsor of the Yellow and somehow the post just vanished.........

Yeah he is quick to answer to get the sale. Just wait until you have a problem after and that's when the answers stop.

Guy on yellow sent his huben back for warentee and now he can't even get a answer or a reply after a month.

Wow I will say I hope my experience doesn't end up like any of those horror stories. Working in the automotive industry I will say that a story always has two sides. In my business we will pretty much give the customers anything they ask for if it's our mistake. If not then we still usually do. Thank you for providing those examples. I do have a few more items to report that are thankfully all positive. First of all I inquired about the hdd offered by mrodair even though the p-12 doesn't appear to be a bounce candidate and I plan on fitting a sterne ssg eventually. I asked if I ordered it if he could put it on the same shipment as to save additional charges. I was delighted when I was informed I could indeed get the hdd offered at no additional cost!! He simply stated that I need not order a thing and that I would ship with the P-12 at no cost. In addition I was notified today from UPS that I have a shipment in transit from mrodair with an eta of 9/22 this Thursday. So far I'm thoroughly impressed and pleased. Again I'll keep this updated with the next post of packaging and the sort.......

Hope you enjoy your P-12!....great gun, and quite the shooter (as you'll soon see).....it will have other "more expensive" guns cryin in their soup, at 50-75 yards.

I read the full 23 pages on the TAG concerning the P10.  You said you ordered, have you received it or heard back??
