Title: Were Looking For More New Memebers
Post by: Norm_m on September 18, 2016, 09:27:56 AM
OK GTA Members come join the fun and try the 100 yard target challenge and join the Long Range Club!

We know not everyone has the pleasure of having a place to shoot at a 100 yard distance but for those that do give it a try and you will find it is addicting.

The challenge of shooting a 100 yard target is GREAT once you try it.

The main thing is to shoot often and have a great time.

I'm looking to add your name to our Club!

I've got an AT44 Long QE in .25 waiting at home for my attempts.
Got the FX No Limit Rings, a UTG 4X16 SWAT, and the Tactical Stock will be in soon.
Just need a new Pump next as the order of JSB's is in now also.

Looking forward to seeing a target from you Jeff! Sounds like you will have the gun that can do it, now if is the guy behind it up to it?

Once you begin shooting the 100 yard target it does become so addicting that it is difficult to go back to the shorter distance targets

I'm in the process of getting my act together for membership.  I wish 100 a yard range and time would all line up to get my target picture ready. Joe

I look forward to trying for this too.  I think the key for me isn't just light air days,  but dead air days.  It also depends on the pellet.  My faster pellet is not as good as my slower pellet in terms of grouping when there is even light wind.  In dead air though,  it can be a real toss  up.

I'd love to get the grouping though.  Oh *(&^,  seriously?  I'd Mat and frame it.  Absolutely.

Good evening
So I'm looking for some advise on where I can find the best ballistic calculator for air guns.
I just finished a long range rifle class and want to use the air gun to stay fresh on top on my shooting skills. There aren't many 1000 yd ranges in lower NY to stay sharpe. This is where the air gun comes in. I also know it will be just as addictive as clanging steel at 1000 yds.
So my set up is Gamo Pig Man edition whisper with a Ugt 6x24x56 scope. I've tried chair gun but found it very confusing. Also wanted to find a program where I can print out a click chart for my set up.  So a program that lists the yardage incriminates I choose for my pellet an so on.
If any one can direct me in the right direction I and my shooting skills will be very grateful and happy

Thank you and stay safe
Kevin

Hey kevin, there's an app called "Strelok" that I think is exactly what you're looking for.

It asks for permissions to pictures and media for whatever reason, but it works very well.
