Title: My First 100 yard AT44QE
Post by: Lastcat on September 16, 2016, 07:01:04 AM
This is my first submission. I am totally stoked  ;D

I've been shooting AR15's and Glock's for years. Reloading for them both. This is my first PCP I have ever owned and it's only a few weeks old. I have upgraded this AG by following the upgrades posted by Bob. If you are ever in doubt about an accurate AG, you really need to look at a Hatsan.

This is my AT44QE short. Using JSB 25.39 gr. Center Point 4-16x40. Home made Bench Rest. I did a lot of work to the AG and it sure has paid off. One thing I wish I had is a Bull Pup Kit...one day.  ;D

I have a post here, where I talk about how I got started with Air Guns and hunting Nutria. And the upgrades I did to this AT44QE (short)

I think this Hotsun really turned out great. All the advise here and the work I put into this AG, has really paid off. So stoked to finally get a 5 shot group at 100 yards. Here is a video also I did a few days ago at 75 yards.

Love the sound of that .25 cal JSB 25.39 pellet whizzing by to the target. Anyways, here is my submission. It's in my backyard and it is calmer at night. I shot this at 1am when the wind was at Zero. Temp 55 degree F. Cheers, Lastcat.

Nice shooting. In the pics, it's still light out at 1:00am???

Are you in Alaska?

Thanks FarmerJoe. Yep, I was a CNC Machinist for 16 years and work with wood. Think I made this back in 2008. Don't own a Mill or Lathe. Just simple tools, drill press, router, band saw, etc...

That was a picture I took yesterday, here in SW Wa State, at about 7pm. During that time it was just too windy and couldn't get a good group. That 4mph wind just pushed a pellet ever so often, so I gave up.

So at 1am (since I'm a Night Owl) I settled in, put a light out there on the target and gave it one more try. First target was a keeper.
