Hello all... Just wanted to post about a short "project" I'm going to be embarking on very soon.
I'm going to be assembling a bullpup TalonP. Here's some pics of the kit, made by "Tagdagger" over at the TAG forum:

All I'm doing is adding a threaded adapter and an LDC. Then painting it. Probably multicam, as I've painted that pattern in the past. I'll add more pics later. I just wanted to post... I'm pretty excited, as I've wanted to build one for a while.

Well, I have the bullpup kit together. Hopefully put some pellets through her soon. The kit is quite simple, and went together quickly! Everything feels nice and tight. OAL is 28". Not too shabby. Again, I'll be adding a secondary LDC that's 6" long. So for a .25 that I'll probably only be shooting out to 60-70 yards max, at around 40-50 fpe, with an OAL with LDC of 34", that's not too shabby at all.
Here's a pic, sorry, bad cell pic:

I'll also be painting it with a basic multicam paint job to cover up the bare aluminium. Nothing crazy, and it will be a "hasty" paint job, so I'll not be too worried about perfect tape lines. I'm just concerned with covering up all the bare metal.
The knob looking thing under the tank is a 18 shot pellet holder, which came with the kit.
Numbers and accuracy to follow.

Looks good Tom. Be sure to post pics of painting once you're done with it.

Looks like a carbine to me. How is that a bullpup?

It may not be a true bullpup, for those used to Ed Guns and such... The loading port is behind the grip and trigger, the grip is also about in the middle of the gun. Both are attributes of a bullpup. One of the reasons the designer made this kit was to enable the installation of a longer barrel (16"?), without adding additional length to the overall package- another attribute of a bullpup design. I of course stayed with the original 12" barrel, and used his baffle insert.
I guess "bullpup-ish" would be a better word... ;D Call it a carbine if you like... I don't mind.

Well, I got lazy and didn't want to make the patterns or spend a lot of time painting this thing. ;D I chose a single color, and I had not a single care when masking the gun off for paint. I sprayed 2 coats of color, and 3 coats of flat clear. This will be a tool through and through, so really, I just wanted to cover the bare aluminum. I also wanted a subdued color, as to not attract attention of the neighbors.

Again, all I'm adding is a threaded adapter and a 6" LDC. I'm going to add a scope of course, but I think I'll get a set of Drooper rings from Mac1 with my next paycheck.
