Title: Question on seal for CO2 cartridge on 2400KT
Post by: birdmove on September 09, 2016, 05:23:36 PM
Well, yesterday, when removing the CO2 12 gram cartridge from my Custom Shop 2400KT, the seal came out too. Went to Crosman web site, and couldn't find a 2400KT listed. Did find the 2240 parts list. I wonder if it uses the same seal? Looks like it might be a 130-035 o'ring?   I assume I have to remove the barrel, remove the, what they call the powerlet tube, from the grip frame? Or can I leave the grip and barrel on and get the valve out that contains this seal/o'ring?

I haven't done much work on these, but have replaced the plastic breeches with steel ones on a 1377, 1322, and my 2400. Is it a waste of time trying to come up with a suitable o'ring from a hardware store? or should I order it from Crosman?

Thanks for any toips and comments.

Jon,
The 2400KT and 2250 is the same. Use the same parts. That'll make it easy to order. And don't forget to put a drop of 30 wt. non-detergent oil or Pelgun oil on the cartridge tip before inserting.
Good luck.
