Hi Guys
Well I decided to try this and boy all I can say it is a HUGE CHALLENGE!! I started playing around with the yellow center targets and using my card-stock paper for the targets. Well I soon changed to plain targets and regular paper as I was using up printer ink and card-stock paper way too fast.
I started on Tues. and keep trying and tuning my AA MPR FT and things kept getting better. I was shooting possibly 4 targets per day and was doing good but I was never satisfied as I did get several targets with 4 shots in the 4 MOA ring but it seemed I was always either getting a flyer or pulling one shot.
So today I decided to shoot my MPR FT over my Chrony and do a little tuning and after several hundred shots I felt I had things where I wanted them . So back to the 100 yard range I went. I'm pretty fortunate as my tuning range and 30/50/100 yard range is right out my office window as the pictures will show.
This picture shows my shooting bench which is right in my office. The bench hangs right from the window and my chrony has a bracket on the outside of the house. I have a Chrony Master with printer so the display is right on my shooting bench with the printer right beside it. A very handy set-up!

The next zoomed in picture of the range shows my 30 yard target to the left followed by my 50 yard target to the right and the big boy, the 100 yard target in the center. There's thousands of wooded acres behind my house and it was pretty good hunting till someone purchased the land and now no hunting is allowed. I've taken several nice deer from right behind my house. I do not know how many times I have looked out my office window and seen deer walking in the path to my 100 yard target. Anyway back to the story at hand and here are some range pictures

This picture was taken from inside my office showing the complete range.

The final two pictures show the target I am submitting as I stopped while things were VERY GOOD! I did not expect my tuning was going to give this result and if I had I would have used card-stock for the target as it gives much better pellet hole results. Plain paper is not anywhere as good. I also had several yellow center targets made using card-stock all printed up and waiting to be used when I felt I was ready. Boy did I surprise myself!!

Excellent shooting Norm, another Master in the club.
-
Great shooting! Welcome to the club. 100 yard shooting is addictive indeed.
-
Way to go Norm!
Not sure how much "work" I'd get done with an office setup like that!
-
Yes I learnt how to multi task pretty well.
Take a few shots do a little work, take a few more shots do a little less work.
To H with it more shots less work!!! LOL

Excellent shooting Norm!
Love the shooting bench and chrono setup 8)

When Discos R Us was in full swing I had to do something for a shooting range that I could use at anytime. Could not hold up shipping an airgun because of bad weather jus because I could not shoot it over the chrony to get the shot string report. So I came up with this design so it did not matter if it was too cold, too hot and rain or snow could not stop Norm LOL

Sweet setup Norm,
Thats some great shooting, now all you need is a remote target retrieving system!
I built one for 50 yards, but still need to do some upgrading on it! Target system and Deer in the back yard on my You Tube Channel,,, need a radio controlled motor on the target system to make it more practical...

Wow, great shooting Norm, especially with a .177! You have the ultimate shooting set-up there too.
-
Nice shooting Norm and a nice range you have there.
-
Thanks everyone!
I really surprised myself with that target. After the third & fourth shot I kept recounting the shots in the target as I could not believe all were in that small group. Boy that fifth shot was a difficult one as all I kept thinking was this one will be a flyer or I will pull it and after the shot I looked very close and said "well I think I did it but will not believe it till I go get the target"
There was just something special when I got to the target and looked real close and counted all five holes several times, what a great feeling it was.
I do not think I will shoot the 100 yard target for a dew days so I can just enjoy what happened before I ruin it!! LOL

Very nice shooting sir. That is an impressive group, even more impressive that it was made with a .117! I can't group that tight with a .25. I always get at least one flyer. Well done

Great shooting and Very impressive!

I cannot think of a better person, Tommy AKA PlanB to share the Master group with.
On the other hand I think everyone that has been able to be added to the Long Range Club deserves a big round of applause.
Good going everyone

Very-VERY nice shooting Norm !
You guys are setting a tough standard to follow. Wow.
Really like your setup as well. Showed it to my wife but all she could talk about was the view out that window. :)
Maybe soon I can join...? "Wind"(my story and I'm sticking to it;)

Just reading the Rules for the Long Range Club again and by the looks of it I just made the Master rating by 0.171" as the 5 shots have to be inside the 2 MOA ring which I thought was all that was required but the group also has to be less than 1 MOA or 1"
Now the challenge will be to see if I can do it again as I have several targets in the trash can that are almost as good with 4 shots in the 2 MOA ring and grouped under the 1 MOA but I seem to always have one that I pulled and is outside the 4 MOA ring.
The worse part is now I want to shoot the 50 yard Match and will need to adjust my scope for that. Once I get a target I am happy with in the 50 yard Match I will drop down to the 30 yard Match and adjust the scope for that one. Adjusting the scope from a 30 yard setting back to the 100 yard setting is a real pain as the scope does not seem to like that much elevation adjustment. I have been very lucky as the windage adjustment has always stayed right on for all distances as in a perfect world it should but boy wind at 100 yards really shows up with the .177 cal.
I hope to get the 50 & 30 yard targets done very soon so I can go back to the 100 yard target as it was very addicting.
