Great shooting. We will try this at least one more time before the shooters from the north start getting cold.

Ricky, I have a couple more months untill it gets too cold for me to shoot so keep them coming if you like. 8)

Summer is harder on me. Shooting during the winter here is easy unless it get below freezing.
-
I know how you feel about the heat, the mosquitos are a killer here also, cooler weather helps with that too. I also shoot in winter when there is a warm spell.

I live in central NH and I'm good till at least Nov.
I do shoot all winter long what is a few feet of snow and sub zero temps!! I snow blow a path to my target every storm to make things easier.

Haha Norm , I have done the same thing, and when the snow is to deep to blow I use the snowmobile.

Robert by the sounds of it you are a lot like me. Why let a few feet of snow and a -10 degree day stop you from shooting. If I was not shooting I would more than likely have some snowshoes on and be out in the woods looking for some partridge or rabbits.
I find a 90 degree humid day more uncomfortable to shoot in then a very cold day! I think it all depends on where you have lived all your life to how the weather affects your activities.

It's hard to see with sweat in your eyes from 100° and 90% humidity. I try to get up early and shoot before the sun comes up. As I'm getting older the cold is starting to get to me so I stay inside if it's below freezing, except for hunting.
-
Wow staying inside when it gets below freezing would mean not going out very much from Nov through March in NH as well over 80% of the time it is below freezing at that time on year. A 30 degree day between those months is almost a sunbathing day LOL
I guess it all depends on where you have lived most of your life as to how weather affects you. For myself the best time of the year is Sept. - Nov. as it does go down into the low 30s and many times into the 20s but a good share of the days the temps rise into the 40s -50s

I'm kinda in the middle somewhere living in VA. Winters are usually around freezing, at times a little below and at times a little above with only a couple of snow events. Summers in the 90s with high humidity. I also prefer the colder weather. I can do 17 yds in my basement so I do the close work there during the temperature extremes. Call me a wimp I guess ;D

You know how heat in the desert is different than heat where the humidity is high, like the the Gulf coast is. Same goes for winter. I've been in Vegas where the temp was 110° and I was not sweating. I've also bee in the mountains at -10° with it snowing and was not cold. Most times when it gets around or below freezing here it will be raining and windy. That just make me miserable, especially the older I get.
