Title: Moly?
Post by: s10gto on April 13, 2011, 10:56:45 PM
Hi everyone got a question on Moly. I would like to lube tune my 34pro this weekand but I am out of JM Moly. I know that some use the Honda paste but I don't have a close dealer. I do have a close Yamaha dealer.

Is this Moly good to use?

Thanks Dustin

Thanks Mark. Ended up finding the Honda 60. Just lubed my 34 pro with it and JM lubes / seal. What a difference. She is one smooth shooter now! Dustin

I purchased a 8 ounce jar of Loctite Moly Bendium Paste 65% through Fastenal for approx $33.00 CDN. Really good price when you compare to other sources. Loctite part # 51048. I would think that this is available at most Industrial supply stores. Best part was no shipping charges.

If you keep your eye out, sometimes you can find the Loctite Moly on eBay pretty cheap. I got an 8oz jar of Loctite 65% Moly paste last week for $13.25 shipped but I just looked and it's all gone now. It's a big jar, enough to last me for the rest of my life.
