Title: Need help with Airforce Talon
Post by: Skinard88 on August 22, 2016, 04:58:52 PM
A friend was having problems with the trigger on his talon. I'm pretty good at fixing AGs so I told him I would take a look. He brought it to me COMPLEATLY disassembled. I can find plenty of stuff on the action, But I cant find anything on how to put the trigger back together. I found some pics, but they are not very good and don't give much detail. Why do I keep telling people I will take a look. Anyhow it looks like I'm going to learn how to work on a Talon. Thanks

I can offer a blow up of the assembly.
Can't supply any tricks nor details beyond that.

Thanks Tom, these are the pics I found. I have Long springs, a short spring, and in the pic. I see a spring on the safety spring that I don't have. I wish I could find a vid. like I found on taking the action apart.

go on you tube, there is a video that shows an animation of the entire working of the condor/talon,same inner,s, had same problem as you with my condor assembly.when i re did it for .257 and new d.n valve, hammer and spring, worked the trigger to get 3 lbs,and springs drove me crazy as did the pin,s they go in a certain way, and pins are tapered.

go slow and by the diagram when assembling/disassembling.

Talons (i did convert it to Condor with a factory kit and their assistance) are not hard to work on. I've had mine for six years and i enjoy it more every year.

Thanks for everyones help. The owner came over with another AG he wanted to sight in. He said that he had been thinking of sending it to Talon tunes before it went wonky. So I said, I bet they can fix it. Off it went. Thanks again for the help.
