I have heard this mentioned several times in regards to installing the GRTIII trigger. I am not able to look up the site with all the instructions for at least a week and my trigger is being shipped in a day or so. Anyway, I want to make sure i have everything ready for when it gets here. I'll run over to my buddies house and jump online for the installation guide. So where do I get this stuff or is there anything else that can be used?

I've never used any moly installing a GRT-III, nor do I know why you would.... Mike

ok, maybe I read it in reference to another mod. Is there anything I will need other than a basic tool set?

The hardest part of the entire installation procedure is removing the tiny little "c" clips :) Don't lose em :)
The installation is a snap, you won't believe how easy it is.... but do be careful not to have that little "c" clip pop off into oblivion :)
As for lube.... there's plenty of lube already in the trigger group.

I mix a bit of moly with some non-detergent oil and use a needle oiler on the pivot pin for the trigger. Not sure if it's necessary, but the trigger sure is smooth. Also works great for spinning reel bail rollers and anything else you can think of.

I purchased a 8 ounce jar of Loctite Moly Bendium Paste 65% through Fastenal for approx $33.00 CDN. Really good price when you compare to other sources. Loctite part # 51048. I would think that this is available at most Industrial supply stores. Best part was no shipping charges.

The pivot pin and fat pin needs some lube. And where trigger blade makes contact with seer a bit of lube is needed. I use the mystery lube which is part non deturgent motor oil and moly. Also use this on henge points.
