No way!

How tragic!

I'm so sorry for your loss....

I wonder if the Holiday Inn had video cameras running pointed at the parking lot.....

We will definately be watching for them, and I will notify my "little group" of shooting buddies too.

If any of it comes up on CL anywhere between San Francisco and San Diego, we will spot it in very short order.
I hope we can help to get your stuff back.

I have also requested to the Admins, that this thread be made a "Sticky" for a temporary time period.

sorry to hear that news, I know your distraught right now. there are not too many days that I don't for a second or two think about what if mine just walked away. very scary thought when you take into the account all the money, time, memories its just sickening. will look out but somebody should have seen something!!!

I will tell you this, there is not much lower than a thieve, I would Rather be robbed at gun point than to get clipped by a snake. I would still be mad as *(&^, but at least there are more options.

hold your head up, walk tall something positive will surely  happen sooner than later

Wow I'm so sorry to hear this, similar thing happened to me several years back,I saw nothing but red for about a month. Checking Craigslist every 5 min in the barter and trade section drive me crazy. That FLEX should be very easy to spot,if your lucky the scum just may be dumb enough to try selling it or pawning it. I'm almost positive that you may find some luck on Craigslist...Best place to sell stolen stuff, they hide it under barter and trade and usually won't post pics but will happily send pics. Best of luck :(

Not sure it gets the most exposure in this gate now.....(judging by how many times it's been viewed since being moved).
I think it should be put back into the PCP gate (not as a sticky) for great visibility.

I never look at the announcement gate.....(only reason I'm here now is to follow this thread).
Look at motorheads new thread about his mutant, look at the view count it has in just a few hours.

Move it back for better exposure to members.

Great town of Modesto.  Tweaker central?  I work downtown and it's sad to see the number of folks wandering around out of their minds.

I'll keep an eye out on the Craigslist in my area.

There's a special place in H@ll for thieves...
Hope you find your babies.

Wonder if a post on Craigslist in the "Wanted" section looking for an air gun to buy would pay off?
Don't get too specific, just a listing you're looking to get into higher end airguns and list their common names.

I troll cl automatically for airguns, will let you know if anything shows up. What does is mostly garbage, so items like this would jump right out.

Lost a couple beloved firearms in a burglary years ago, and would still love to find that perp. Feeling your pain.

So sorry to hear this. Don't forget to check pawn shops. Pawn shops often provide quick cash for stolen items so the losers can get their meth or heroin.

Modesto and where I live now, Lancaster, Ca. moved here because my business is here and a lawsuit ......  that's another story .. I won the case but still had to sell my house to pay for attorneys. I got to tell ya, Lancaster is a pure dump, it is the home of section 8 housing and EBT stamps.  Will be getting out in a couple of years at the most ... I'm off to anyplace but California ! I'm sick and tired of paying for everybody else.

I better stop or I'll get kicked of this forum ;-  )

The worst feelings ever.

About 9 years ago at a range west of Davis, CA my pride and joy Thompson/Center Contender with ported 14" .223 barrel was stolen from my shooting bench while I went to the restroom.
When I came back I asked the RO about it and was told "It is not my job to watch your stuff".

Of course, no one else saw anything either.

Didn't take my rest.
Didn't take my shooting bag.
Didn't take my spotting scope.
Didn't take the case.

The RO just let the PERP walk off the range with un-cased gun.
Sure!

Certified RO my ars!

2- guns stolen from my truck, 1 Ruger Super red hawk .454 Casull and a Beretta PX4 storm .40, they were in a locked case and stolen from the back seat of my truck, alarm was on and doors locked, truck parked in my carport, He used a spark plug to break the window, reached in and took the case, and then the house was robbed 3 times, I had put in surveillance video cameras and caught the crook on video, gave the video to the cops and haven't heard anything since no gun's no stolen items, apparently they recovered nothing, but all the break in's in the neighborhood stopped since then.

GEEZ !!!
Here in the backwoods of southern Alabama folks sorta take care of their own problems. We all know and respect that. Lots of places to hide things around here  8). Ya just don't go walking onto someone's property unannounced or uninvited. Ya just might not walk back out. Most of the authority types are local folks. They condone the law of the land. Rattlesnakes and wild hogs ain't the only thing to be cautious of.

So is it a State Law or is it your insurance company?  And if it is your insurance company who are you insured with?

Thanks!

I have a $1,000 deduct and $2500 Cap!!  That covers one rifle, now what?

When my boys were at USC (University of Spoiled Children), their car was broken into.
Dowtown Los Angeles, go figure.

Anyway, their very expensive tennis equipment and golf clubs were taken.

My AAA Home Owners covered it.

I am insured w/AutoOwners.  As far as I know most all companies do not consider "air guns" to be "firearms".
Very easy to check.  Just call your Ins. Agent.  If you don't have an agent then you will probably have to venture into the "1-800" land.  You should have reported this theft to the police & received a report number.  Ins. Co. will want a report #.
Good luck & let us know how it goes.
