Title: Scored an older Crosman 760 today

SN 04431599. 

Marked "Powermaster 760
BB Repeater/.177 PELL"

Metal receiver plastic stock.

I am already looking forward to putting a barrel off of broken Crosman M14 pumper I have on the 760 so as have a metal receiver rifled shooter.  That's what I had in mind when I purchased it.
It does need some work... doesn't cock or attempt to fire when trigger is pulled.

I nearly tried to do the above to my plastic 760 but was hoping to run across a metal receiver and got my wish today! 8) :D

Congrats on the find. That is a fun gun. I had one back in the 60s and many a hosp fell victim to it. Good luck.
