Title: Dragon claw shot string
Post by: Whatsquirrel on July 07, 2016, 06:09:26 PM
I decided to do a shot string today on the dragon claw. This what I have so far;
209gr round nose slug
220bar 682fps
Error
Error
185bar 723
180bar 733
170bar 743
160bar 745

Had to shut it down there the local LEO's showed up & asked me to kindly stop. But they was amazed at my air rifle collection. I will continue the string when I head to the country house.

Just shot my tuned claw with the pellets from African ordnance mold. Unbelievably. Accurate going tie change insert shoot a 60 grain heavier pellet

What kind of string are you getting & what distance are you shooting? I'm inly shooting out to 50yrds, that's where I feel safe shooting a pig at. I'm getting about 1.25"-2" groups at 50yrds & a clover leaf at 25yrds.
