Title: Filling question
Post by: redsman on May 29, 2016, 09:32:27 PM
I have a Benjamin Marauder. I bought a Air Venturi G6 pump with it about a year ago. I haven't shot it but maybe 20 times. I just got tired of pumping and it was making it more of a chore than having fun. So it's been put up since. So I was thinking of getting her out and actually sighting her in. Can I use the hose that came with the Venturi pump to hook up to a tank. I know I have to buy the yoke and what not but can I use the hose at all?

Once the hose has a 1/8 BSPP threaded female connection on both ends you should be able to use it.
But iirc from the old pump I had years ago, that hose is male on the end that goes into the pump & female on the other. Even if that's the case, you should be able to convert it for use at minimal cost if you get a female 1/8 BSPP to female QD adapter.

I'd be better able to assist if I knew what yoke setup you were looking at.

Perhaps you will be better off selling the pump and buying the proper fill equipment you need to fill the gun to 3K from the tank. All can be found at MAC1 online.

Thats an option as well. But the hose can be recycled. i just looked at my old pump and the hose has one end is actually male bspp & the other is female bspp.

Check out airtanksforsale.com, or pm Joe Brancato, he should have what you need to get going.

Need you to tell us what you have, and what tank you are going to buy, that will determine what else you will need. Pics of what you have will really help.

It really boils down to what connections the tank/yoke you plan on using come with, whether QD or 1/8 BSPP, male or female. To better direct you we need to know what exactly you will be getting.
