Hello folks,
In shooting show, in Turkey new model semi auto pcp is introduced by mr. Bahtiyar Tasyagan, the owner of Hatsan.
It seems like semi auto version of Hatsan Nova.
Here is the video from the show. You can see the rifle.

I will tey to give new info about rifle as soon as i get.
Cheers

Thank you for the report, I`ll be looking forward to that.
-
Pretty cool. This thread will probably get moved to the PCP/Darkside gate. Was amazed they were able to dry fire the gun in a convention setting like that.

I was surprised they allowed a charged airtube in the show at all. That's basically "loaded", when it comes to PCP.
-
Hatsan is doing a very nice job moving forward
-
I like it
Look forward to seeing more info on this rifle
Thank you for posting the link to the video

I like it. Is it regulated like the Nova? Hopefully this makes it to the USA.
-
That sure got my attention. Awesome looking to boot.

I was in Turkey during Operation Northern Watch(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Northern_Watch) and got to know the culture of Turkey pretty well.
They are not quite as uptight as us Americans in many aspects of daily life :-)
-
Still MORE PROOF
HATSAN IS COMING . . . . . . great to be an air gunner

Its the only way to show that a semi auto is actually functional. Empty reservoir means no air to cycle the action.
-
Anyone know what they call this unit? Or when it's scheduled to hit the stores?
-
2 new models announced unoffially here in Turkey. Some rifles sent to some airgunners totest and first impressions.
One of them is bulp-up named , Turkbull. The other one is Barrage.
They will hit the stores in Turkey in near future.
I saw some chorono cycles and were not bad. Group in 50 meters promising. Yet i need to experience it by myself before a conclusion.
-
This is new Semi auto, Hatsan Barrage.
We are expecting price tag around 500$ here in Turkey.
-
Max caliber .22 i guess? (hoping for .25 or even better .30 ;D )
-
Thought I was going to be buying a Bullboss soon. I guess now I'll just be saving for a Turkbull a little longer. Hope it's in .25 or maybe .30. But mostly hope it's soon....
-
I couldn't afford to shoot this in anything larger than .22. Air and Ammo consumption will go through the roof!!! ;D I'm really excited about this gun. Love the camo stock. I sure hope the version we get looks like this. Can I get a 30 round magazine please? Wonder what it would take to mod it to full auto? :o
-
looks cool.. from the video it seems like a conventional blowback action
-
Very cool indeed!!!!

I already asked for magazine capacity and max. Caliber already. To mod to full auto i am not sure.

Found some unboxing video of the Barrage:

Here's another video. Has a shot string chart I really don't understand at 11:56. Starts at 250 bar and shows a 12 shot string, then 235 bar with 12 shots al the way through 15 magazines to 60 bar. That would be 180 shots on a fill which can't be right. Not sure what that chart means.

Thanks for posting this info.
That gun looks amazing.
Why hasn't an American company like Crosman released something like this?
Here's a video of the TURKBULL bullpup:

Just cut and past the above to the end of the you tube URL
-
it is baffling considering all these companies have no issue making true semi auto pistols (all blowback
-
This vid is only showing ~750fps with the .22...isn't that kind of low? or not really for a SA?

Hopefully the competition heats up and this kind of tech will come to pups in the near future!!!
-
It can, just drop the entire gun in a bullpup stock and add a trigger linkage.
Finding a nice stock that could accommodate that bottle on the other hand may not be so easy.

Did you mean like this one called the Turkbull by Hatsan????

yup
I do like the semi auto concept, but hate the look of that stock

I liked the idea of the Turkbull at first, then I saw some of the velocities. Then I started looking at the stock design also. That thing is going to be at least 2-3 lbs heavier than a Bullboss, with lower velocities. I think it has to have the larger reservoir due to the SA design, and everything spirals from there IMHO.... But at least companies and designers are trying to bridge the gap, and I think that is where a lot of shooters eventually wants to go. I do like bullpups though, just trying to figure out which way to jump....
-
I personally prefer the Bullboss, only thing I have an issue with on it is that high rail. BUt iirc that riser rail can be removed, so replacing it with a 0.5" rail should be doable to resolve that issue.
-
I've already written Santa Claus! That's going to be my next rifle - I hope it at least comes in .25. I'll be one happy camper! Imagine a quick second shot - more moving target shots, that's for sure!
-
Wonder if they'll ever come out with a full-auto bullpup capable of power levels similar to the original AT44 & not battery operated like the Evanix.
That'd be a unit that I'd be willing to drop everything for.

One of the issues with bullpups is sight clearance. So usually all of them have high rails/optics for the cheek weld on the stock. I know some have said that the cheek piece on the Bullboss is removeable and it helps with canting the head over....
-
I want one.
-
I found a video of them using the Barrage, but I'm not allowed to post external links.

Yep, I took the cheek piece off of mine, and it was much better. Pretty much all the bullpups are going to require a high scope. I was worried I would hate that, but it really isn't bad at all. You just have to get used to it, and it is just as accurate.
I'd think they would be able to get the velocity up on that seimi-auto PCP if they wanted.

This is what so many of us have been waiting for! Looks like I will have to start saving my penny's for this one. I'll get a jump start by selling that MCX dog that has been wasting space in my gun cabinet.
-
My excitement for this gun has been tempered by seeing the Evanix GTK 290 and the Evanix GTL 480.

Having to deal with a rechargeable battery on these turned me off, that and the price. Still waiting on that Barrage myself.

Those Evanixes also jammed a lot sometimes requiring to be sent back to importer. Of course there were good examples as well but in general they got a bad reputation.
-
Thanks for the heads up! I hadn't heard of any jamming problems and that would be terribly problematic with a semi auto. I can hardly wait for the first good bigger bore semi auto...

The Evanix units might make a nice gun for bench work, but I & many others don't like the idea of electronics in the field when hunting.
If the electronics get wet, or battery dies, or it develops a short in the circuitry, thats an outing that just got canceled unless you got the parts on hand to do a field repair.
Gas operated semis is where its at.
-
I never hunt with just one gun. I wouldn't take a gun like that out in the field until I've thrown a lot of lead through it and see what it can do AND I always have a back up. I don't care a whit about electronics in the field if they work - it's up to me to take care of my equipment. I'm trying to find out from someone who has one or has shot one how it performs.

New semi-auto Hatsan (Barrage?) video I found today:
