Any tricks for getting the seale on the piston. Don,t how much I should force it. Any help would be appreciated. I am sure there must be some trick to it but can,t find information on it. Must be looking in the wrong place. Wolfer

Many will tell you to heat it in hot water to soften it. It doesn't work for me.
OleTomCat told me the trick. Get one side started under the "button" the best you can. Then use a couple of small screwdrivers to work it the rest of the way around. It's kind of like putting the tire back onto a bicycle rim.
I have seen a tapered top from a bottle of glue or something used, if it's the right diameter. I've never used that method.

I used the screw driver trick the other night it works well, just use a small flat head, and be careful.

Place the piston face down over the seal on a piece of board, push down and slightly drag the seal onto the piston. Just curious but what seal did you get? I just put a jm seal on mine but the seal OD is to small, I must have got lucky with a way over bored compression chamber. Oh well
