Title: See Bullets Before IMPACT-Steel-800 yds

Hi Guys,

You MAY or NOT find interesting....This was my first time out with my steel plate 9 months ago, and 800 yds. Never posted it as plate tilted a little backwards. Bullets splattered and went everywhere. Also the sun glare on white at bad angle, made impossible to see the hits on video. Next time tilted plate forward a few degrees, bullets slammed DOWN.......... 

Was cleaning out digital files and clicked on it and saw a silver flash. Had FULL SCREEN and saw instant flash. KEPT clicking red slider back and sure enough see a FLASH of bullet just before impact.....

For those who like the CLANKING and VIDEO LEVEL here it is...............2 incoming can be seen is all. AT around 8 seconds see the bullet at middle right of target right over green WEED.........I just have cursor at 2 seconds before on red slider and keep clicking it to repeat .........See even the angle it is coming in at............AT 57 seconds there is another that is little further RIGHT of weed in blue sky, and up a little....

They are just a flash as the sun glint at that instant camera picks it up........MOVING TO.....I look on big monitor/desktop, not sure on iPhone if it can be seen?

I found it cool anyway and now won't delete from my files and leave to YouTube 8)

Hi Carl,

I really hope you don't mind, I downloaded your video, go through it and took 5 consecutive frames out of it as snapshots, made some cropping and put them to new video. This is real slomo of one shot somewhere in 56 seconds in your video.

Here we can see bullet coming and ricochet going. Pretty cool, methinks...

No I do not mind, thanks for your efforts.........I like the one at 8 seconds or first shot fired.......But your work on the one at 58 sec sure shows the ricochet really moving still......Amazing the energy it still carries at 800 yds, impacts hard enough to completely smash full length of bullet (of ones recovered since), and pieces in OPPOSITE direction still moving that fast.

The video sucked, and why it wasn't posted originally, but before deleting last night noticed the glint of light off bullet and did think That part was interesting? We are all learning just how serious these .257 caliber airguns really are, at longer ranges.

My sentiment exactly...Did garner something from an otherwise worthless first viideo effort that day with my plate  :o
