Who would you fellas suggest for a tune on my RWS 34? Also what should I expect to pay? Thanks for the help.

Check the GTA Mall for tuners.

I have JM GRT kit in my 34 and I would and will buy another. Super smooth and no twang at all. 730 FPS with 14.6 FTT .22. About $69 bucks and worth every penny. Dustin ;D

Are you gonna do it yourself?

No Mark. I'd be sending it out to someone...I have ZERO experience taking an AG apart and I don't want the 34 to be the first.
I wonder if Mike Melick would do the 34 since he works with it's clone?
I have a b-12 from him with a lube tune and some trigger work, I think, and I think it's my "smoothest" AG.

There is alot of great support on this forum for the home tuner and a few great tuners that call this place home.
ON a side note if mark611 ( says do this or do not do this ).. Trust me listen to him... I did and wow is all I can say. He knows what he is talking about and his advise is solid. Rob

Thanks Kid!

I am in no way dissuading you from using any tuners here on the GTA, but I do know that John in PA does excellent work on the 34. More than just dropping in a kit, etc. He hangs out on the Dianawerk Collective forum.
-
I agree with RedFeather - I don't own a 34 but if I did and if I wanted to have it professionally tuned, John in PA is the man I would be calling.

Duber

From what I have read here, Mike Melick tunes all types of air guns. Call or email him.

Thanks for the info. Just did all that to my .177 model 34 and it's so much nicer to shoot. Doesn't try to jump out of my hands when I squeeze the trigger now. The old piston seal was pretty ragged looking.

No problem. Just did my 34pro. What a difference. Super smooth with less recoil. Dustin

JMHO
John in PA has the knowledge and the inner links with JM or Vortek to make it happen
call John 717-873-5128 and find out
-
ditto for John.. and he will test your gun for accuracy before shipping it back. He also does great trigger work which I highly recommend for any gun.
-
John's tune include fixing things he notices aren't right, along with the new seal, spring, etc. And, having had a T05 trigger that he reworked, well, the only word which applied to that one is "wicked". He does know his way around a lot of Diana's, including the 54.

anything i have tuned goes to Ed(shadow). i've only heard good things about john in PA. .....but i know Ed does great work right here on the gta....he's getting my RWS52 and HW97k in the next week...shoot him a PM and he'll give you a quote...cheers Bart
