Title: Scopes

I am an old had with guns but a newbie with scopes. My NP killed the cheap scope that was on it so I ordered a new UTG air gun scope. Does anyone know if new scopes come with the cross hairs centered? I used the mirror trick and can only see one set so assume (yeah, I know what assume means!) that they are. Just wanting to get started right. Thanks.

I have seen some that say they do, but I do not know about the UTG scopes. There are better ways to check than the mirror trick.

I ran the elevation adjustment to it's limits both ways and found the center. My problem is I can't get enough elevation. At it's top limit it is 4" low. I put a Hammers scope on it and it is fine. Guess I'll send it back for exchange.
